Trend Analysis

A single anti-dsDNA measurement was obtained as part of the autoimmune workup during the initial pancytopenia evaluation in November 2025. The result was negative (29.1 IU/mL, reference <100), which argues against systemic lupus erythematosus as a cause of pancytopenia — particularly important given the positive Ana (2.2 ratio) obtained at the same time.

The negative anti-dsDNA, in combination with the absence of clinical SLE features, effectively ruled out lupus in the differential diagnosis, directing the workup toward the eventual Aml diagnosis.
