Elevated ESR

Clinical Summary

Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate was markedly elevated at 130 mm/hr (reference 0–35) on 2025-11-19. This is a non-specific marker of systemic inflammation.

Context

- Pancytopenia
- Positive Ana (ANA 2.2)
- Elevated CRP (13.80 mg/L)
- Bone marrow biopsy showing atypical mononuclear cell infiltrate

The markedly elevated ESR in the context of pancytopenia and bone marrow infiltration raises concern for hematologic malignancy, systemic autoimmune disease, or chronic infection.
