Trend Analysis
A single D-Dimer measurement was obtained in September 2022 during an acute inflammatory episode. The value of 0.48 ug/mL FEU was normal (below both the standard <0.5 cutoff and the age-adjusted cutoff of <0.75 for a 75-year-old). This effectively ruled out active thrombosis/DIC as a contributor to the inflammatory picture at that time.
No D-Dimer measurements have been obtained since AML diagnosis. Given the malignancy and central venous port, this marker may be clinically relevant if thromboembolic concerns arise.
