Trend Analysis
Total IgE was elevated at both measurements in September 2022 — 203.1 IU/mL during acute inflammation and 134.4 IU/mL one week later as the inflammation resolved. Both values exceed the reference range of ≤100 IU/mL.
Elevated IgE can be seen in allergic disorders, parasitic infections, and certain hematologic malignancies. In the context of the September 2022 inflammatory episode (referred by Sudheendra Ghosh), the elevated IgE may suggest an allergic or parasitic component to the acute presentation. No further IgE measurements have been obtained.
[!note] No IgE measured since AML diagnosis
IgE has not been re-evaluated since AML treatment began. Eosinophil predominance (13%) on the 2025-11-19 peripheral smear may warrant re-assessment if allergic symptoms arise.
