Trend Analysis
Complement C4 was 39.3 mg/dL, at the upper end of the reference range (10.0–40.0). Normal C4 combined with normal Complement C3 rules out hypocomplementemic states (e.g., active SLE, hereditary angioedema, cryoglobulinemia). The mildly elevated C4 may reflect an acute-phase response, consistent with the elevated Crp (13.8) and Esr (130) at the same time.
